We now seek a Care Home Assistant Practitioner who is passionate about, and thrives on, making a real and positive difference to the lives of older people.

Playing a fundamental and integral part of our united and extended care team you will assist in looking after the physical, mental and emotional needs of our residents to help us deliver the highest quality, individualised care they require.

As one of our Care Home Assistant Practitioners (CHAPs) you will collaboratively work alongside our fully trained Nurses to support and assist with the day to day nursing needs of our residents, thus allowing our Nurses the time and resource to tend to the needs of the more complex nursing requirements of some of our residents.

By showing us you can match our values with the right desire for personalised excellence, community spirit and a kind, caring and compassionate nature, we, in return, can offer you a career developing your knowledge, skills and abilities to support vulnerable adults with the care their individual needs require.

Whilst undertaking a wide range of duties which support the highest quality of personalised medical and clinical care to our residents, you will also help and cooperate with colleagues, family members and our extended range of external qualified professionals which make up our overall ‘care community’, to fulfil our aim of helping to maintain the identity and dignity of our residents with a focus on living life to the fullest for each individual.

What we require from you:

  • Care Home Assistant Practitioner Certification

  • A caring nature to give everyone a personal approach

  • Proven ability to lead by example, motivate a team and delegate effectively

  • Have a coaching style leadership mentality to empower your colleagues

  • Good communication and relationship building skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to changes at short notice

  • Warm, approachable, and engaging persona

  • Respect everyone, treating others as you would expect to be treated

What’s in it for you:

  • A competitive salary of £15.74 Per Hour

  • Pension contribution of 5%

  • Recognition schemes and rewarding referral schemes

  • Uniform provided and DBS check costs paid

  • 28 days annual leave (based on full-time hours, including Bank Holidays)

  • Flexible working patterns

  • Fully funded training and development

  • Support with personal development plans

  • The opportunity to grow and develop both personally and professionally

  • An engaging community environment where everyone is respected and included
