Your rate of pay and hours of work
This temporary role offers a competitive pay rate of £12.21 per hour, with weekly payments and accrued holiday pay. Responsibilities within your new role as Kitchen Assistant
In this position, you'll assist the chef with food preparation, uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, and prioritise food safety. You'll collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, contributing to a well-functioning and supportive work environment.


Your experience, qualifications and personality
We are seeking candidates with 6-12 months of experience in a similar role, ideally within care homes or educational settings. A valid PVG or Disclosure is required, which you should already hold or be willing to obtain. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional service, committed to hygiene and cleanliness, and able to manage tasks effectively, even in busy and high-pressure environments.
