Responsibilities in your new role as Care Home and Nursery Chef
In your role as a Care Home and Nursery Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing healthy, high-quality meals that meet specific dietary needs, while ensuring there’s a steady supply of snacks and beverages throughout the day. You’ll also manage the kitchen inventory, oversee stock replenishment, and collaborate with the team to maintain an organised, clean, and efficient kitchen environment.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
We are seeking individuals with substantial experience as a Chef or Cook in similar settings, particularly within care or educational environments. A keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential qualities for success. A valid PVG certificate or Disclosure is required, though candidates who are willing to obtain one will also be considered.
