gobecare is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to help create a positive, engaging environment for residents. You will design and deliver a wide range of activities that promote physical, mental and emotional health, using creativity and care to enhance daily living. You must be available to work 5 days from 7 between 8am and 7pm.

A driving licence is essential. The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a 7-day rota and benefits including induction and ongoing training,

Qualificações

• Desirable care setting experience.
• Passion for working with people with varying support needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, organised and able to work independently.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Level 2/3 Health and Social Care or activity qualification is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organise, and deliver activities tailored to residents' needs and abilities.
• Encourage residents to engage in activities and support their well-being.
• Maintain records of residents' activity preferences and involvement.
• Work with the care team to align activities with individual interests.
• Foster an inclusive, vibrant atmosphere where residents feel valued.
• Organise special events, outings and themed days.
