Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator for Dove Court in Burnley. You’ll plan and deliver engaging activities, tailor-made to residents' interests, and help create a warm, social environment.

This permanent, full-time role (39 hours per week, alternate weekends) offers £12.95 per hour and the chance to make a meaningful difference in daily life for older people through community events, outings and holistic wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to individual interests and abilities
• Creating a warm, inclusive, and social environment for all
• Supporting residents in maintaining existing hobbies and discovering new ones
• Organising social events, seasonal celebrations, and community involvement
• Coordinating outings and excursions to promote wellbeing and variety
• Working closely with care staff and families to support holistic wellbeing
• Recording participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement
