Care Home Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator - Residential Care Home - Whitby

We are looking for an enthusiastic Coordinator who can develop and plan programs, outings, and events, providing a wonderful experience for residents while working within a generous wellbeing and activities budget for the home.

This is a part-time role with flexible hours/shifts, Monday to Saturday, 10am - 4pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Organise and plan activity programmes reflecting service users’ preferences and keep up-to-date records using Person-centred software care planning program (PCS).
  • Assist the Group marketing consultant with quarterly newsletters to inform residents and their relatives/friends about activities in the home.
  • Support residents in accessing the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype, and FaceTime.
  • Plan events within the allocated budget.
  • Ensure activities and outings are resident-centered to enhance their wellbeing.
  • Promote and protect the welfare of individuals supported by the service.
