Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a driver and care assistant for a weekly 6-hour role in Pudsey to support an elderly gentleman. The job requires accompanying him to visit his wife in a Guiseley care home, with driving responsibilities and light in-home care tasks.

The position includes occasional errands to the bank or doctors, and at least one weekend day. A full UK driving license and access to a personal car are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in elder care or companionship desirable.
• Ability to follow duties with minimal supervision.
• Empathy and reliability in a caregiver role.

Responsibilities

• Visit my father 3 times a week in Pudsey.
• Drive him to see his wife in a care home in Guiseley.
• Assist with entering/exiting the home and meal setup when needed.
• Be available for occasional trips to the bank or doctors, adding up to 1 extra hour.
