Bluebird Care Market Harborough and Oadby are seeking a dynamic Care Coordinator to join our team during our expansion, helping us deliver high-quality care to more people at home.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Registered Manager, demonstrating excellent communication skills, providing sensitive and appropriate responses to clients and carers. Care experience is essential. Must be able to prioritize tasks, remain calm under pressure, and have good IT skills.
  • Ensuring all rotas are fully staffed, including personally covering shifts when necessary.
  • Monitoring and coordinating care plans, liaising with social services and health professionals, handling complaints, managing sickness cover, and conducting care assessments, initial inquiries, and risk assessments.
  • Covering staff sickness and attending care calls outside of working hours, with additional pay or time off in lieu.
  • Providing care according to best practices, policies, standards, and legislative requirements under the direction of the Registered Manager.
  • Participating in an on-call rota to support the care team outside of office hours, including shift cover during staff absences.

Minimum requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving license and business car insurance
  • Willing to undertake a DBS check
