Home Care Coordinator

Salary: £24k - £26K DOE

Hours: Full Time 9 - 5 Monday to Friday - Some flexibility may be required

Working Location: The White Barn, Runfold St George

Contract type:Permanent role

Right at Home GF is a high quality home care provider based in Farnham and working across Guildford, Farnham and surrounding areas. This role will be coordinating care for the Guildford territory. Providing great care to older people in their own homes, we offer companionship, personal care, shopping, housekeeping and meal preparation to our clients.

We have a fantastic team and are now looking for an enthusiastic person to help us keep our clients and care team happy. You will report to our fantastic Registered Manager Adriana and will have ongoing support from our main administration team, also based in Farnham;

Your duties will include;

  • Using People Planner software to schedule in care visits and check caregivers timesheets
  • Emailing and Posting out schedules to clients weekly
  • Handling new and existing client enquiries and taking assessments
  • General office administration
  • On call rota

We are looking for someone who really enjoys providing great customer service both on the phone and in person. Phone work will take up a large proportion of your time, talking to caregivers about their schedules, clients about their needs as well as taking details from prospective clients.

A high degree of computer literacy will come in useful, as well as the ability to learn new systems (Gmail, People Planner, Switchboard) and therefore experience of working in an office environment is a must. If you have care experience, that would be a bonus, but the office experience is more important.

You will need to be resilient as well as a great team player, willing to support other members of staff including providing the occasional care call (when you are suitably trained).
