The North Manchester Early Intervention for Psychosis Team is delighted to be able to offer a full-time permanent post of care coordinator: registered nurses, social workers or occupational therapist are welcomed to apply.
The Manchester Early Intervention for Psychosis Service is divided into three teams covering the city: north, central and south. This post will be based in the NORTH team - Central Park Hub, M40 5BP. You will be expected to travel across the city as part of the back-up assessment practitioner rota and across Greater Manchester to inpatient units as part of the role.
You will work alongside a multi disciplinary team of passionate and experienced colleagues and will be supported by the Clinical Team Manager and Senior Practitioner. The team is a strong promoter of research studies for service users and staff with strong links to the GMMH research department. There are opportunities for accessing training including non medical prescribing and behavioural family intervention therapy training.
This post is a part-time time position (30.0 hours per week). The Team is currently operational Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm but flexible working can be discussed.

Job responsibilities
Under line management and clinical supervision from within the Early Intervention Team, the post holder will maintain and co-ordinate timely and appropriate interventions and assessment for a caseload of service users living in the community within the framework of CPA and in line with the relevant clinical pathways i.e.) as outlined within the EIT operational procedure.
This includes respecting individuality, values, culture and religious diversity of clients and colleagues and thus contributing to the provision of a service sensitive to these needs.
The post holder will be required to work the core hours of 9am 5pm, Mon-Fri. Willing to accept 30hrs 4days, or condensed hours 37.5 over 4 days.
