Location: Salisbury

Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (30-minute unpaid break), on call availability

Salary: £ per annum bonus

The Role:

As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the CQC-regulated branch, supporting individuals in their own homes, maintaining its excellent reputation, seeking new opportunities, and ensuring the care and coordinating team follow company policies as well as national and local guidance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the branch continues to grow and develop its homecare service.
  • Work alongside the Registered Manager to drive the team and branch towards achieving weekly KPIs, focusing on staff recruitment, increasing client packages, and developing the private funding customer base.
  • Ensure the coordinating team creates travel-effective rotas in advance and that clients receive high-quality, consistent service from familiar staff.
  • Manage team rosters effectively, matching skills to client needs.
  • Report and record safeguarding concerns to the Branch Manager.
  • Attend training to expand personal development, utilize reflective practice, and complete learning logs to improve service delivery.
  • Approve and record holidays, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Monitor staff sickness and absence, working with staff to improve attendance where needed.
  • Ensure the homecare service is person-centred, with support plans written to a high standard, and risk assessments carried out and reviewed per company policy. Mentor staff responsible for care plans and risk assessments.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally with NVQ Level 3 in Social Care
  • A full UK Driving License
  • Strong system proficiency and local area knowledge
  • A self-motivated and ambitious mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Competence with IT systems, Microsoft Office, and databases
  • The proven ability to manage and meet tight deadlines
