Job description

Bring your skills to a collaborative, expanding care team where every day counts.

At CareRight, we’re passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care across Teignbridge, Ivybridge, Tavistock, and Plymouth. As our services continue to expand, we’re looking for a confident and organised Care Coordinator to take the lead on managing staff rotas in our Plymouth, Tavistock, and Ivybridge areas.

This is an integral role in our office-based team, perfect for someone with rota management or scheduling experience (especially in the care sector) who’s ready to take ownership and make a real impact.

Please note: Rota management for our Teignbridge area is covered by a separate Rota Manager.

What you’ll be doing
  • Creating and managing accurate care rotas
  • Responding quickly and calmly to last-minute changes in staff availability or client needs
  • Working closely with carers, clients, and colleagues to keep everything running smoothly
  • Keeping records up to date and ensuring systems are compliant
  • Supporting care delivery occasionally by attending visits when required
  • Helping to shape a well-organised, friendly, and responsive coordination function
What we offer in return
  • £27,000 – £30,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Performance-related bonuses and opportunities for paid overtime
  • 28 days of paid holiday
  • Ongoing training and development – we’ll support you to grow
  • Regular team events, recognition schemes, and wellbeing initiatives
  • A genuinely supportive and inclusive work environment with room to progress
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in rota or workforce coordination – ideally in domiciliary/home care
  • A great organiser who can juggle multiple priorities with ease
  • A clear and confident communicator – both over the phone and in writing
  • Comfortable using scheduling systems and Microsoft Office (full training provided)
  • A proactive, friendly team player with a real interest in the care sector

If you're ready to take the lead in a role that keeps our care services running smoothly and supports both our team and our clients, we’d love to hear from you.
