Job summary

Riverside Group is hiring a Care Coordinator at Esther Randall Court in Camden. You will lead a care team, manage day-to-day service delivery, maintain compliance with CQC standards, and support residents through person-centred care plans.

The role requires experience in a CQC registered service, team leadership, and strong reporting and data analysis to drive service improvements. A permanent, office-based position with flexible working patterns is offered.

  • Experience leading a team and prioritising tasks to achieve positive results.
  • Ability to review, monitor and evaluate outcomes in a CQC registered service.
  • Experience producing reports, statutory submissions and analysing outcome data to drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe team environment and support colleagues.
  • Oversee daily service operations including rostering, medication, and admin.
  • Hold regular 1:1s to review performance and wellbeing.
  • Conduct six-monthly performance reviews to develop staff potential.
  • Lead team meetings to share best practice and ideas.
  • Ensure seamless service delivery by coordinating with catering, facilities and maintenance.

Job description

Contract Type:Permanent
Salary:£33,180.78 per annum
Working Hours:37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Office Hours - 7 days flexible
Location: Esther Randall Court, Camden

About you

Role Profile
Lead a team
  • Create a safe team environment where colleagues can talk openly and honestly.
  • Effectively handle the administrative systems and procedures relating to the daily running of the service including; deploying staff, staff rosters, medication and financial administration etc.
  • Hold regular one-to-one meetings with care team to reflect on achievements, performance targets, personal wellbeing and promote good working practice.
  • Undertake six-monthly performance reviews to support and guide colleagues to fulfil their potential.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to update and empower the team to share ideas and best practice.
  • Embrace reflective practice techniques so that the team can learn from their experiences.
  • Build positive working relationships with the catering, facilities, cleaning and maintenance contractors to ensure residents receive a seamless service
Lead a service:
  • Supervise the service as per CQC and contractual requirements, including reviewing contract performance annually, to ensure excellent outcomes are delivered for customers.
  • Promote and implement care policies and procedures to ensure the team are effective and delivering a safe service at all times.
  • Advise all relevant stakeholders of any changes to policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the setting and management of service budgets. Monitor spend by accessing the finance system and report any budget variances to the budget holder.
  • Meet Riverside performance targets.
  • Resource, plan and deliver a colleague rota that ensures all shifts are covered effectively.
  • Implement and oversee a robust medication procedure in line with national Safe Handling of Medication guidelines. This will include overseeing the safe and effective administration, storage and prompting of prescribed medication to customers.
