Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking an experienced Care Community Manager to lead a team of carers and senior carers in a high-quality care home environment. You will ensure person-centred care planning, safe medication management and continuous development of staff to enhance resident wellbeing.

You will work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to sustain exceptional care standards, mentor colleagues, and foster a positive culture for residents, families and staff

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience leading a care team within a care home.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care planning and medication management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Positive, professional and compassionate approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting older people to live well.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of carers and senior carers to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
• Oversee care delivery within the community and ensure care plans are accurate and up to date.
• Manage medications safely and support residents to live fulfilling lives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Care Community Manager at Barchester Healthcare, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards of care we're known for. Working closely with the General Manager and wider leadership team, you'll lead and inspire a team of carers and senior carers to provide outstanding, person-centred care to every resident.

You’ll oversee care delivery within your community, ensuring care plans are accurate and up to date, medication is managed safely, and residents receive the support they need to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. You’ll also support the development of your team through coaching, mentoring and leading by example.

ABOUT YOU

• A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
