Job description

Job Description

This is a part-time post and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.

Do you have the experience to join us as a Care Coordinator in a modern 56 bedded care home? Your responsibilities will include leading and directing the care team to ensure delivery of person-centred care.

You will promote and encourage staff interaction with care, meaningful activity, and infection control processes. Your role will be to develop and support staff throughout your shift. You will lead and support with Health & Safety (H&S) and all fire procedures within the building. You will be part of our management team within Crosslet House, and your role will include promoting quality standards to comply with current legislation and council policy. You will also carry out the required administrative procedures and contribute to staff development while managing all aspects of the electronic medication system and Care Planning system. Requirements

You should have or be working towards SVQ 4 in Care and Professional Development Award or equivalent. You should be able to register with SSSC.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, and as such, membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities

The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants are, therefore, not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are "spent" under the provisions of the Act. In the event of employment, any failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
