We are currently recruiting an experienced Care Coordinator to join our team. This is an office-based role involving administrative duties such as managing care/customer files, producing compliance documents, and being on-call on a scheduled rota basis. You will liaise with healthcare professionals, care assistants, customers, and their families to ensure high standards of care and support with skilled teams of Care Assistants.

Reports to: Care Manager

Role Summary:

Ensure all customer visits are allocated, recruit suitable Care Assistants, and maintain office procedures.

  • Answer all incoming telephone enquiries.
  • Implement thorough recruitment and vetting procedures for Care Assistants.
  • Process new customer referrals.
  • Prepare documentation for Field Care Supervisors.
  • Allocate Care Assistants to customer visits and ensure coverage.
  • Administer Care & Support Agreements.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and Care Assistant files and electronic records.
  • Keep computer systems and records current.
  • Work closely with the Field Care Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with office systems and procedures.
  • Assist with wages and invoice processing.
  • Produce reports and management information as needed.
  • Display strong communication skills, fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Maintain a friendly telephone manner.
  • Work effectively under pressure and multitask.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Meet deadlines and follow directions.
  • Make quick decisions and think on your feet.
  • Be compassionate and caring.
  • Candidate must have previous experience as a Care Coordinator.
