Care Co-ordinator

Established for over 50 years, operating in the North East, Yorkshire, and Humberside area, here at Springfield Healthcare, we`re passionate about delivering the highest quality care and support for people living in their own homes.

As a Care Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. The scheduling of carer rota’s, ensuring visits are efficiently coordinated taking customer preferences, locations, and staff availability into account.
  2. Ensuring that holiday, sickness, and emergency calls are efficiently covered and all affected parties are communicated with.
  3. Keeping the internal IT systems updated with changes in carers on an ongoing basis.
  4. Managing carers' annual leave while ensuring sufficient and consistent cover for customers.
  5. Ensuring carers' induction, training, supervision, and appraisal are rostered effectively.
  6. Assisting the Manager in conducting carer supervisions and probation reviews.

You`ll also be part of the On-Call Rota.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year’s domiciliary care experience, own a car, live within the local area, and possess strong planning and organisational skills along with excellent communication abilities.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000.

Working hours are 35 per week, plus On Call support.
