Job summary

EMED Group is seeking Call Handlers in Shrewsbury to join our patient transport operations. You will handle bookings and inquiries, coordinate with medical staff and dispatchers, and ensure timely journeys with a patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Reply to service user questions or enquiries about journeys
• Coordinate with road staff, PTLOs and dispatchers to ensure timely journeys
• Transfer callers to appropriate options when needed
• Keep up to date with policy and procedure changes
• Undertake required training and support less experienced staff
