Job Role: Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to assist the team with daily routines, including personal care and feeding. Candidates must have at least 6 months of care experience and demonstrate compassion.

Responsibilities include:

• Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
• Assisting with feeding and serving food
• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
• Helping patients move around
• Assisting with toileting and collecting bedpans
• Maintaining tidiness in wards or homes
• Managing supplies and equipment

Experience with mobility aids and escorting patients within hospital departments may be required. Opportunities for training and induction are available for experienced candidates.
