Job Role: Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant

The Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker will assist with daily routines including personal care and feeding. Candidates must have at least 6 months of care experience and demonstrate compassion.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting patients with washing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Serving and helping patients eat
• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Providing emotional support to patients
• Helping patients move and use mobility aids
• Assisting with toileting needs
• Maintaining cleanliness and supplies in the ward or patient's home

Previous experience and/or qualifications in care are essential. The role involves working under supervision of nursing staff and may include training and mentorship for new healthcare assistants.
