Job Role: Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will help and assist the team with daily routines including personal care and feeding. Candidates must have at least 6 months of care experience and demonstrate compassion.

As a Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker, you will work under nursing supervision alongside other healthcare staff. Your duties may include:

  • Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing

  • Turning bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores
  • Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
  • Assisting patients with mobility
  • Managing bedpans and helping with toileting

  • Managing supplies and equipment
