Job Role: Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will help and assist the team with day-to-day routines, including personal care and feeding.

The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months experience in care and demonstrate compassion.

They will help with day-to-day care and are vital members of teams in hospitals, homes, and clinics.

As a Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker, you will work under nursing staff supervision alongside other Healthcare Assistants.

• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Talking to patients to reduce anxiety

Your daily work may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients between departments. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.
