Job Role: Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will help and assist the team with daily routines including personal care and feeding.

Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months of care experience and demonstrate compassion.

They will assist with day-to-day care in hospitals, homes, and clinics.

As a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker, you will work under nursing staff supervision, alongside other Healthcare Assistants.

Your duties may include:

• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
• Helping patients move if difficult

Your daily work may involve using mobility aids, escorting patients, and training new healthcare assistants.
