McCarthy Stone in Bristol is hiring a Zero-hour Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in Magpie Court. This role keeps you in one location with no client travel required, supporting residents in daily activities and wellbeing.

You’ll join a supportive, compassionate team in a modern workplace with paid training and flexible hours. The role offers competitive pay (£13.70 per hour) with potential extra for some evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or a Health & Social Care Level 2 qualification is beneficial but not required.
• Over 18 years old and driving is preferred but not essential.
• Warm, friendly and passionate about supporting older adults; team player and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines.
• Organising and joining in with activities.
• Booking appointments and helping with practical tasks.
• Escorting residents on outings and appointments.
• Being a consistent, friendly presence in residents’ lives.
• Light cleaning and domestic duties.
