Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the daily lives of our residents, ensuring their personal care needs are met with dignity and respect, and promoting their independence.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, creating a caring and positive environment.
  • Ensure the care plan is followed, documenting any changes in residents' conditions and reporting to senior staff as necessary.
  • Assist in the organisation and implementation of social and recreational activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment within the care home.
  • Support the residents in making choices and decisions, promoting their independence.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. New entrants to the sector will be considered as full training will be provided.
  • A genuine desire to care for others and make a positive impact on their lives.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • A respectful and compassionate approach towards residents.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
