Job description

Care Assistant Weston-super-Mare (Female Only)

Location: Weston-super-Mare
Pay Rate: GBP13.00 per hour (Monday to Friday Daytime)
Business Insurance: Essential (for those using their car during support)
Mileage: Covered only when transporting clients
Holiday Pay: Not included separate holiday pay scheme available
Gender Requirement: Female applicants only (due to client preferences)

We are seeking kind, proactive, and reliable female Care Assistants to support clients in the Weston-super-Mare area with a variety of day-to-day needs and community-based activities. This is a highly rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and helping individuals lead fulfilling and independent lives.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting clients with Down syndrome, mild epilepsy (well-controlled, no seizures)
  2. Assistance with personal hygiene, changing beds, and light domestic tasks
  3. Helping with food shopping and managing basic routines
  4. Engaging in fun, active community activities: bowling, cinema, gym trips, coffee outings, and more
  5. Providing support to attend volunteering placements and other meaningful daily routines

What We re Looking For:
  1. A female carer (due to the personal nature of support and client preferences)
  2. Someone with business insurance if driving is involved
  3. A compassionate, energetic, and patient personality
  4. Ability to work independently and encourage independence in others
  5. Right to work in the UK
