Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate, in-home support within the community. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided, with ongoing support from a friendly team.

Weekend shifts are available with flexible patterns; you will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle to travel between visits. Benefits include holiday pay, pension, early pay access, funded training and discounts via the Blue Light Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Support with mobility and safety during visits.
• Record and follow care plans; administer medication as directed.
• Help with household tasks and errands as needed.
• Run essential errands such as shopping and prescriptions.
