A local recruitment agency is seeking community care workers in the Clay Cross area. This role involves delivering personal care, assisting with medication, and supporting residents in a residential service. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 months of experience in a similar care role, an up-to-date DBS check, and relevant training. The position offers ongoing hours for suitable individuals working primarily on weekends with an hourly wage starting at £12.21, which increases after 13 weeks.
Perfect opportunity for local work for those based in the Chesterfield area!
You will be working within a unique residential service where each resident has their own flat. This service offers a "community care within the building" model, allowing you to provide essential support without the need for travel between locations.
Residents are semi-independent, but the role involves delivering personal care similar to that of community care. You will also be responsible for administering medication, assisting with meal preparation, carrying out domestic tasks, and supporting residents on local shopping trips. Some residents require double-up care and assisted moving using hoists and other mobility aids. The service operates on a schedule of planned care calls, with additional ad‑hoc visits based on residents’ needs.
If you are looking for a new opportunity that offers ongoing hours, a strong sense of community, and the feel of community care without the travel, we would love to hear from you.
To apply for this role you must:
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
Please note that we do not offer sponsorships.

You will be paid £12.21 per hour (rising to £13.33 after 13 weeks) with an enhancement of £16.24 for 06:00 to 07:00 hour worked.
