We’re currently seeking an experienced Care Assistant to cover weekend shifts at a care home in the Swanwick area of Alfreton. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, weekly paid hours while making a meaningful impact in a supportive care environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to residents throughout your shift, working closely with the existing team.
• Provide personal care to both male and female residents.
• Assist with mobility using equipment such as hoists, slings, and rotundas.
• Serve meals, record basic information such as fluid intake, and complete domestic tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the update service
• Up-to-date mandatory training
• Full up-to-date CV with employment history
• At least 2 years of referenceable experience in formal care settings
• Ability to provide reference details for two previous care employers, including the most recent
