Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking experienced Care Assistants for a care home in Staveley, catering for up to 35 residents. Candidates must have experience within a UK Care Home and be able to provide references. The role includes following care plans, engaging residents in activities, and performing housekeeping duties. Ongoing hours are available, with shifts on weekends offering enhanced pay for unsociable hours.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience within a UK Care Home Setting.
• Ability to provide references covering the last 2 years of work.
• In-date enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months.

• Follow individual care plans and report any arising issues.
• Take part in daily activity sessions to entertain residents.
• Undertake housekeeping duties including serving meals and laundry.

Job description

Earn up to £16.24 per hour and get the hours you work paid WEEKLY!

We require experienced Care Assistants for a care home which caters for the needs of up to 35 residents.

Based in Staveley, you will work as part of the team following individual care plans and reporting any arising issues.

You will take part in the daily activity sessions to entertain the residents and will also be expected to undertake housekeeping duties, including serving meals, feeding residents and laundry.

This role offers ongoing hours for the right candidate, with shifts from 14:30 to 22:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. You will be paid £12.21 per hour with unsociable hours paid at the enhanced rate of £16.24 per hour (increasing to £13.33 and £17.64 after 13 weeks).
