You do not need any care qualifications or formal experience to become a Care Professional as we will provide you with our award-winning care assistant training. We have Care Professionals working with us who have been stay-at-home mums, semi-retired school teachers, and retired individuals seeking part-time work. The only requirements are a warm, compassionate nature, a people-oriented personality, and a willingness to learn.

Home Instead offers competitive pay rates and the support of a friendly, professional office team. All you need is a passion for supporting others and pride in delivering outstanding service. You should be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful. Building professional friendships and being comfortable spending time with others are important qualities.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel to clients' homes
  • Full DBS check required
  • No care qualifications or formal experience necessary, as training is provided
  • Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, Healthcare Assistant, or caring for a loved one is a plus
