Job summary

Clarendon Care Group Ltd in Kidderminster is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join The Shrubbery Nursing Home on a permanent, full-time basis. You will provide personal care, support residents with daily activities, assist at mealtimes and help residents prepare for bed, maintaining dignity and wellbeing.

The Care Assistant Role

Your duties will vary depending on whether you work days or nights and may include:

• Providing all aspects of personal care

• Promoting residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing

Senior Care Assistant / Med-Tech Responsibilities

As a Senior Care Assistant or Med-Tech, you may also be responsible for:

• Overseeing and supporting other care workers
• Helping to ensure the smooth running of the service
• Administering prescribed medication in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policies and procedures
• Responding appropriately to emergencies
• Providing guidance and support to Care Assistants
• Working under the supervision of qualified nursing staff
