Job description

We're looking for Care Professionals who are available for morning, lunchtime, teatime, and bedtime visits. You must hold a full driving licence and have reliable transportation as some of our clients require accompanying to appointments. Home Instead carers are called Care Professionals, and being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With a minimum of 1-hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high-quality, person-centred care. Duties can include:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
  • Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework.
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or shopping.
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.

You aren't required to have experience for this role. We offer award-winning training which is a combination of e-learning and in-house workshops, leading to a nationally recognised Certificate of Care once completed.

Home Instead Rochdale covers the Borough of Rochdale, including Middleton, Heywood, Norden, Bamford, Littleborough, and Castleton.
