Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, you’ll be supporting individuals with a variety of needs, helping them live comfortably and safely at home. Your role will include:

• Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, etc.)
• Assisting with medication support
• Helping with mobility (including the use of equipment)
• Supporting with meal preparation and feeding
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with light household tasks (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
• Encouraging hobbies, activities, and social engagement

Requirements:

• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business use
• Ability to work evenings and weekends (shift patterns are fixed once agreed, with changes requiring 4 weeks’ notice)
