Vacancies for Walkers & Drivers

Location:

Sefton including Bootle, Netherton, Maghull, Litherland, and other surrounding areas.

Salary:

£12.60 per hour weekdays and £13.00 per hour weekends. Real living wage employer.

Shift Patterns:

Breakfasts and Lunches / Teas and Beds.

Mileage:

45p per mile allowance included.

Care Assistant Role:

Become a Care Assistant with Local Solutions and provide practical support and personal care to individuals within their own homes in the Sefton area. No experience is required; training will be provided. This is an exciting opportunity to play a role within a leading Health and Social Care Charity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal/domestic care to enable service users to retain independence in their own homes.
  • Promote good care practice, maintaining dignity, independence, and respecting cultural, spiritual, and religious needs.
  • Meet physical, social, and emotional needs as per care plans, promoting independence and life skills.
  • Collaborate with other staff, agencies, and community nurses involved in care.
  • Work with service users to improve and maintain daily living skills, using appropriate equipment.
  • Maintain records, write reports on care plans, and report significant changes to the Line Manager.
  • Work flexibly within a community team.
  • Adhere to Local Solutions policies and procedures, promoting anti-discriminatory practice and equal opportunities.
