Job summary

Prime Life are looking for a caring Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Meadow View Care Home in Alcester. You will support residents with daily living, meals, mobility and companionship, delivering dignified, person-centred care with patience and respect.

Full training is provided; prior experience is desirable but not essential. This full-time role offers benefits including DBS, holiday pay, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable but not essential.
• Full training is provided.
• Patient, understanding and respectful of residents' abilities; dementia knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with their personal hygiene and selecting an outfit for the day ahead
• Supporting residents to dine at mealtimes and maintain good nutrition and hydration
• Encouraging residents to mobilise safely around the home with mobility aids
• Providing friendship and companionship, and accompanying residents on social outings or appointments
• Maintaining accurate and timely written records and completing documentation
• Being part of a multi-disciplinary team and engaging with care professionals to promote residents' health and well-being
• Welcoming family members to the home and assisting with enquiries
