Job summary

McCarthy Stone is recruiting a Care Assistant at Elles House in Wallington, Surrey. You will provide high quality care and domestic support for residents, including apartment cleans and helping residents stay active in later life.

You will work as part of a friendly team, delivering excellent customer service and fostering wellbeing. Ideally, a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 is held, with consideration given to qualified alternatives.

Qualifications

• You will be a warm, friendly individual with ideally some experience of working in a care or support environment.
• You will have a passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people and enjoy working as part of team in a busy work setting.
• You will be driven to deliver excellent customer service.
• You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification,although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualifications and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest quality of individual care to residents.
• Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans.
• Help residents book appointments, arrange transport and escort visits when necessary.
• Encourage residents to take part in activities supporting health and wellbeing.
