Job summary

Homecarers Care Services Limited in Chester is seeking a Care Assistant (Response Team) to join our domiciliary care operation across Chester and Ellesmere Port. You will provide vital support to clients, ensuring continuity of care and responding to periods of increased demand.

The role offers guaranteed block pay of £13.75 per hour and a mileage allowance, with ongoing training and development and a friendly management team.

Qualifications

• Experience in domiciliary care or similar care setting.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Proactive and adaptable approach to work.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care and support to clients in their own homes
• Assist with medication administration and daily living activities
• Provide flexible support across care services where additional assistance is required
• Ensure care plans are followed and accurately documented
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing at all times
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
• Maintain high standards of care and professionalism
• Communicate effectively with the office team regarding client needs and updates
