Job summary

Radfield Home Care Chester & Ellesmere Port is looking for kind, caring Care Assistants to provide one-to-one, in-home support for older adults across West Cheshire. Join a family-run, outstanding-rated team and gain full training with ongoing support.

The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, medication support, and helping clients with daily activities, outings, cooking, and shopping. Driving is essential to travel between Chester and Ellesmere Port.

Qualifications

• Care experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one, person-centred care for older adults in their homes.
• Support clients to enjoy outings.
• Help with personal care and daily routines.
• Provide medication support.
• Assist with mobility, including transfers.
• Carry shopping or household items when needed.
• Promote independence, dignity and comfort on every visit.

Your Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide one-to-one, person-centred care for older adults in their homes. Every day will be different — you might be:

• Supporting clients to enjoy outings
• Helping with personal care and daily routines
• Providing medication support
• Assisting with mobility needs, including safe manual handling, movement, and transfers
• Carrying shopping or household items when needed
• Kneeling or supporting yourself in low positions for periods when assisting clients
• Helping with errands, attending appointments, and community activities
• Helping with Cooking and cleaning.
• Promoting independence, dignity, and comfort in every visit
  
  

What You’ll Get

• £27,300 annual salary
• Mileage allowance: 45p per mile
• Morning shifts from 8am, Evening shifts till 10pm, including weekends.
