We are seeking a Care Assistant to support a 9-year-old boy in Consett to access social activities and community outings.
Rate of Pay: £13 per hour
The role includes covering holidays and sickness days, with flexible scheduling to be negotiated.
The Care Assistant will assist the boy in engaging with social and leisure activities, such as those with the National Trust and Beamish. The role may involve supporting him during family outings or taking him out on a 1:1 basis.
Experience with autistic children is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Key qualities include being caring, patient, friendly, and flexible.
A clean UK driving license and access to a personal car are advantageous but not mandatory.
An enhanced DBS check will be required and paid for by the employer.
