Job Role: Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant

The Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines including personal care and feeding.

The ideal candidate should have some experience in care and be a compassionate person.

Care Workers / Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers will help with the day-to-day care of patients either at home or within a care facility.

They are vital members of teams in hospitals, homes, and clinics. If you enjoy caring for people and making a positive difference, this could be the ideal job for you.

Previous experience and/or qualifications are not essential but are preferable.

As a Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant, you would work under the supervision of nursing staff and alongside other healthcare assistants.

Your duties may include:

• Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
• Assisting with feeding
• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
• Helping patients move around
• Assisting with toileting and collecting bedpans
• Maintaining a tidy ward or home environment
• Managing supplies and equipment

Your daily work may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients between departments. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.

We also recruit General Nurses, RGN at all levels (mainly Band 5 and Band 6), Healthcare Assistants, Community Nurses, Specialist Nurses, A&E Nurses, Endoscopy Nurses, and Theatre Nurses.
