Job summary

Essex Cares (ECL) is seeking a care assistant to join the community reablement service. You will help people relearn daily living skills at home, assist with personal care, medication support, mobility and meal preparation, and travel between clients across the local area.

Contracts run at 25, 30 or 35 hours with every other weekend, on early and late shifts. A full driving licence and own vehicle are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence.
• Access to a car with business insurance.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Help customers relearn daily living skills at home and in the community
• Assist customers with personal care
• Provide medication support
• Support customers with mobility
• Help customers prepare meals
• Travel between customers across the local area
