About the Role

We are looking for a Care Assistant who is dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience.

As a Care Assistant, you should be willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of our team are essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the care, protection, and wellbeing of residents by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection, and promoting their independence.
  2. Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower residents to achieve their personal goals and aspirations. Respect each individual’s uniqueness and support them in making informed choices to live the life they desire, in accordance with their person-centred care plans.
  3. Promote the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs are met inclusively. Facilitate social, educational, and recreational activities such as visits with family and friends, walks, and other activities of their choice.
  4. Ensure the health and safety of all individuals in your care, maintain stock and equipment, and adhere to Parkland’s policies and procedures.
Location

Be part of our dedicated support services team at Wakefield House Care Home located in Cullen, a picturesque village offering commanding views over Cullen Bay and the Moray Firth.
