Job summary

Oakminster Healthcare is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Carer / Care Assistant on a part-time basis. You will deliver person-centred care in our Glasgow care homes, supporting residents’ independence and dignity while working closely with nurses and other carers.

We value warmth, communication, and a compassionate approach. Training, uniform, and development opportunities are provided, with shifts across 7 days and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Secondary School or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent standards of care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Act as a key worker to residents, providing friendship and support while participating in social activities.
• Accompany residents to hospital appointments.
• Show warmth and support to residents and families to promote independence and dignity.
• Liaise with visitors, regulators, relatives and stakeholders.
• Document efficiently at all times.
• Attend training as required.
