Care Assistant - Part Time, Saint Andrews

Job Description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference in the quality of life for our clients to join our team in East Fife. As a Care professional, you will provide a variety of care and companionship to help keep clients independent in their own homes. This is a part-time position with hours between 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and availability every third weekend.

Responsibilities

Supporting older people to live well at home through:

  • Minimum 1-hour visits for personalized care.
  • Introductions to all new clients and building ongoing relationships for continuity of care.
  • Providing companionship and social interaction.
  • Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation and light housework.
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or shopping.
  • Supporting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Qualifications

No prior experience or specific qualifications are required as full training is provided. Experience in a care setting or caring for family members is advantageous. A passion for supporting others, reliability, trustworthiness, and a good sense of humor are essential.
