Job Opportunity: Home Care Assistant

We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Home Care Assistant to join our amazing Home Instead team Doncaster branch, working in the following areas:

  • Area 1: Bentley, Scawthorpe, Sprotborough, Toll Bar, Skellow, Scawsby, Cusworth, Woodlands, Barmbrough, Hickleton, Conisborough, and Mexborough.
  • Area 2: Armthorpe, Bessacarr, Cantley, Finningley, Branton, Wheatley, Intake, Hatfield, Thorne, Stainforth, and Dunscroft.

Care Professionals support clients in the community to live independently in their own homes. Due to the nature of the role, you must be willing to travel around Doncaster and work a combination of shifts from 7am – 2.30pm and 3.45pm – 9.45pm, including alternative weekends and bank holidays. We require all our care assistants to be available for at least two evenings a week.

You will support clients with:

  • Medication management
  • Meal preparation
  • Shopping assistance
  • General companionship and wellbeing
  • Transporting clients to medical appointments

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • Access to your own transport with Class 1 Business insurance is essential
