Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant for Grove Court in Woodbridge, offering part-time permanent work and night shifts with weekend availability. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, personal care while respecting residents’ dignity and promoting independence.

You will work with clinical and senior teams to create a safe, engaging environment, follow care plans, document accurately, and participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English.
  • Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Experience caring for older people.
  • Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care in line with care plans and procedures, documenting accurately.
  • Report any changes, concerns, incidents, or complaints promptly to senior staff.
  • Support residents with social activities, routines, and meaningful engagement.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, secure environment and ensure equipment is used/stored safely.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies; take responsibility for ongoing learning and development.

Our Grove Court Home is a purpose-built care home located in beautiful grounds in one of the prettiest parts of England. We provide the highest levels of residential and nursing care from a committed and experienced team.

About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high‑quality, personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. Working alongside our clinical and senior care teams, you’ll help create a safe, engaging and comfortable environment where residents can thrive.

What You'll Do
