ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as Care Assistant involves delivering high standards of personal care and contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene, promoting independence, dignity, and respect.
  • Recognizing and understanding clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and signs of infection, and escalating concerns promptly.
  • Respectfully interacting with residents and visitors, respecting each resident's dignity and individuality.
  • Practicing safe work systems across all tasks.
