Job summary

Anchor Hanover Group is seeking a Care Assistant for a 20-hour night contract (21:30–07:30). We offer a real living wage and a comprehensive benefits package. You will provide dignified personal care, assist during meals, and support residents with various aspects of daily life while building meaningful relationships.

No prior care experience is required as we provide excellent training and development opportunities through Skills for Care accreditation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide dignified personal care.
• Willingness to complete Level 2 qualification or higher.
• No prior care experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide dignified personal care to residents.
• Assist residents during mealtimes and daily activities.
• Be a supportive, attentive listener to residents’ needs.
• Contribute to a positive, caring living environment.

Your role includes providing dignified personal care, assisting during mealtimes, and provide sensitive and appropriate support with various aspects of people’s lives. Beyond physical care, you'll also be a comforting and attentive listener.
