Job Role: Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care and support to assist residents in maintaining their independence. This includes personal care, meal times, activities, and offering a listening ear to those who need it most.

Even if you have no previous professional care experience, we will provide all necessary training and development to help you excel, whether in care, housekeeping, catering, or activities. On-the-job training will be provided through NVQ’s and QCF’s.

Care Assistants at Anchor make a positive impact on the lives of older people with diverse care needs and life experiences, making each day varied and interesting.

Please note: All applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK. Anchor does not currently provide Tier 2 sponsorship.

Location: Kirkley Lodge, Middlesbrough

This home accommodates up to 47 residents and boasts well-trained staff, 24-hour care, specialised services for the elderly, beautiful grounds, quality catering, and engaging activities.
